Tavern King
Tavern King is a first-person brawler card game that was made in collaboration with four team members over an eight-week period. I was responsible with creating the medieval-styled tavern itself. This included the layout, organization, and creation of 3D assets that composed the tavern. Some lower-poly assets are from an asset pack* from the Unreal Marketplace. Not all assets made for the game were used in the final build.
Development
Beginning with a basic sketch concept, that concept would be loosely followed for the layout of the tavern. A Whitebox would be created as a basic level design for playtesting while assets were being created alongside. Assets would be modeled and unwrapped in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and then imported to Unreal Engine.
